The Polly Ann Trail Council and staff proudly announce Richard Stone as the Polly Ann Trail Ambassador of the Year for 2014. Mr. Richard Stone, a resident of Oxford, is daily user of the trail. As an Ambassador he has kept the trail from the pedestrian bridge to Drahner Road clear of debris, branches and in the winter season, snow. Because of his consistent use of the trail he informs the trail manager of issues along the trail that need to be addressed. As a volunteer, Richard also has been responsible for repairing, building and positioning benches along the trail. Trail Manager, Patrick Ball stated, “I cannot thank Mr. Stone enough for making the Polly Ann Trail a better place for its users”.
