Linda Moran hired as new Trail Manager
Linda Moran, a 25-year resident of Oxford and 1981 Lake Orion High School graduate, was hired as the new Polly Ann Trail Manager on September 21, 2016, replacing Pat Ball hired in October 2013.
Linda enjoys cycling, running and cross country skiing. She travels the 16.9-mile Polly Ann Trail multiple times each week. Linda's experience includes cycling and running events planning, office management and is a 20-year active member of the Clarkston-based Flying Rhino Cycling Club. She's an avid horse-person and supports trail use for all, including seniors, youth, the handicapped, cross-country skiers and other users.
We predict Linda will be a hands-on Manager - unafraid to wield a chainsaw or use her trail-blazing experience as she did in Addison Oaks County Park, when she worked with Paul Bailey to create the mountain bike trail system.
Moran hopes to raise awareness of the Polly Ann Trail, engage volunteers, seek private donations and sponsors to support and enhance the Polly Ann Trail.
